Frequently asked questions
Everything clients usually ask before starting a project. If your question is not here, send it over - we answer every message ourselves.
How do I start a project with you?
Send us a brief through the form on our contact page. Include what the video is for, roughly how long the raw footage runs, your deadline and your budget. You will have a written scope, a fixed price and a delivery date back within one business day.
Do I really need to tell you my budget up front?
It helps a great deal. Knowing your budget lets us shape the scope around it instead of sending a quote that misses by a mile. If your budget will not cover what you have described, we tell you honestly and offer a smaller scope that will work.
Is there a trial before I commit?
Yes. For new clients we edit a short sample from your own footage - usually up to five minutes - so you can judge the quality before any money changes hands.
How do I send you large video files?
Whatever suits you: Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Frame.io or a direct upload link we provide. Just share the folder and we will pull everything from there.
What software do you edit in?
Camtasia and Adobe Premiere Pro for the edit, After Effects for motion graphics, and Adobe Audition or Audacity for audio work. We can hand over native project files so your team is never locked out of its own content.
How fast is turnaround?
Typically 3-5 business days for a standard project. Retainer clients get a priority 48-hour lane. If you have a hard deadline, tell us in the brief and we will confirm whether we can hit it before you pay anything.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds on Starter projects and three on Professional. In practice we would rather get it right than count rounds - small fixes never turn into an invoice.
Who actually edits my video?
Every project is scoped, supervised and quality-checked by our founder, Amrita Chandra Das. For larger volumes we bring in trusted specialist editors from our vetted network, working to the same brief and the same checklist. You always deal with one point of contact.
Can you handle an entire course, not just one lesson?
That is most of what we do. We take whole modules and full courses, keep the styling consistent across every lesson, and deliver on a schedule that matches your launch date.
How do payments work?
Fixed price agreed before we start. New clients typically pay half up front and half on delivery; retainers are billed monthly. We can work through Upwork or Fiverr if you prefer the escrow protection of those platforms.
Will my footage stay confidential?
Yes. Your footage is used solely to complete your project, never shared publicly, and never added to our portfolio without your written permission. We are happy to sign your NDA.
Do you work with clients in other time zones?
Always. We work with clients across the US, UK, Europe and Australia and answer messages daily. Our overlap hours are listed on the contact page.
